Hi,I did the following:
Give your answer to this question below!
Question by melrae1116: Today on AOL message board someone wrote that Jesus Christ punished Steve Irwin by letting him die……….?
Why would someone write such an awful thing? What did Steve Irwin do to bring the wrath of the Lord down on him?
I can see no reason why this gentle man who wanted nothing but to help the environment and for us all to understand animals better had to die at such a young age.
Especially when there are rapist, child killers, theives and murderers sitting on death row or better yet walking around doing their evil deeds be left alive.
How can someone make such a callus statement about someone they didn’t even know on a personal level. Nothing he ever did seemed to me to warrant this kind of judgement.
Your thoughts on the statement?
I wasn’t trying to acknowledge the stupid remark, simply wondered why people can be so mean.
To some of you that told me to ignore remarks like that and maybe they would go away………..well they won’t go away and even on this site, Religion & Spirituality, people say awful and stupid things about the different religions and beliefs that each of us have and yet I don’t see anyone saying we should all ignore or not respond to those. I have seen plenty of questions that people ask and there are lots of other people answering those stupid questions.
I was sadden by his death and simply asked why a remark like that would be made.

Couldn’t have been Jesus. He walks on TOP of the water. Stingrays swim UNDER the water. Must have been Satan.

Derailed by Tim Irwin, Ph.D.
What causes a leader to fail? What can we learn from those who have fallen? How do we avoid failure of our own? These are just a few of the questions answered in “Derailed: 5 Lessons Learned from Catastrophic Failures of Leadership,” a book for leaders and aspiring leaders of all levels by Tim Irwin, Ph.D. “Derailed” chronicles the collapse of six high-profile CEOs, the factors that drove their downfalls, and the lessons that we can learn to stay on track and avoid derailing our own lives and careers. The story of the fallen CEO has become a cultural fixture: veering off course with the force of a train careening off its tracks, leaving fiery wreckage and devastating injury throughout the organization. These executives are often the smartest and most respected individuals in their industries, with glittering resumes and histories of successful leadership. Yet they astonish us by driving the train dramatically off course, blinded by unchecked power and arrogance. Dr. Tim Irwin believes that these leaders suffer from failures of character that are common to each of us even the most capable individuals. Deficits in authenticity, humility, self-management, and courage become more dangerous as we take on more leadership, and can cause us to ignore glaring signals that might otherwise save us from catastrophic demise. “Derailed” profiles the collapse of six high-profile CEOs (Robert Nardelli Home Depot, Carly Fiorina – HP, Durk Jager Proctor and Gamble, Steven Heyer Starwood …

That was a deluded person, what if Steve was a Christian, then Jesus did him a favor and called him home to paradise with Him.
whatever.
Some people are sick ass holes.
Tammi Dee
guess he was just letting off steam jesus does not punish people by letting them die
that is just asshat stupid.. he died because he tempted fate one too many times.. but he died doing what he loved doing.. it doesn’t get any better than that!
Jesus loves Steve!!!
ITs AOL of all places…
Lots of people say crazy things to grab attention. Best to just ignore them.
Some Christian faithful I am sure…
Steve Irwin was a low life…I hate his family and I hope is wife is still crying like the little baby she is….
From your questions, I can see that you believed in that AOL Message.
HAHAHAHHAHAHHH!
Oh my that is soooo horrible!!!! Some people have nothing else better to do in their Pathetic little lives than to be hateful and gross, I almost feel sorry for them.
Yep, this is why it is soo easy to mess with Christians. A complete lack of will to think for yourselves. That person was right, Jesus killed Steve Irwin. Just ask your local clergy to explain why to you. But whatever you do, don’t do any independent research or reading on your own.
I think the person who said such a thing is an insensitive jackass!
Such a comment is uncalled for. How dare they spout crap like that?
Just my own opinion.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God… because many false prophets are gone out into the world”. (I John 4:1)
That someone who posted that is a TWIT!.
Are you gullible enough to forward that trash?
Well I don’t know Steves beliefs so I just cant say. Just know that whoever posted that is just trying to get attention that person is not a Christian.
Peace
That is sickening and that person is truly an idiot.
Well, it does appear to be an act of God. I believe God let the devil do it for some reason.
I do believe Steve Irwin is in heaven with the LORD. I believe He was being disobedient to God in an area. Sometimes God takes people home early.
Jesus would not punish Mr. Irwin for studying wildlife. He will Judge him at the time we all will be judged. Then Mr. Irwin will be responsible for his spirit and the choices he made concerning his spirit. God bless you for trying to understand.
Jesus Christ did not kill Steve Erwin, give me a break. People that hate God make hateful and slanderous remarks, blaspheming His Son. They make these statements to be sensational and to get people all worked up, and you are falling for it hook, line and sinker. If everyone would just let them run their mouths and ignore them completely, they would have to go back to drinking beers in the Walmart parking lot for their entertainment.
Because some people who embrace Christianity are extremely black and white. They somehow miss how Christ loved everyone including groups the Jews would not even associate with such as the Samaritans and good people with sin in their life. They also miss the fact that God alone reserves the right to be the Judge and the Jury and did not call any of us to that task. Judging is repeatedly warned against in the scriptures. These people literally need help understanding the “whole” picture of Christ’s life rather than learning a scripture here and there and judging. Sadly, they have no clue how much damage they do to taking the name of Christ upon oneself.
Some people have ideas of God that are very wharped, and this is just one example. Steve Irwin died in a freak incident. What does God have to do with the mind and survival instinct of a stingray? The best approach is to ignore this kind of idiocy and know that there are plenty of Christians who feel only sadness and compassion for the Irwin family’s loss.
Jesus isn’t a bleeding sadist. period.
